A New Year and a resolution

The one thing that I intend to do this year, is change the focus of this blog away from Hurricane Katrina. Perhaps I will make it a photo blog. With the major roads opening back up down here, and the businesses being rebuilt, I am finally seeing real progress. The blog has been a great way for me to communicate with family and friends and work through a lot of the stress and frustration I have felt since Katrina. I also wanted to let people outside the Coast know that there was somewhere else besides New Orleans that was affected by the storm. I sent out a lot of CD's with pictures of the damage down here and a link to this blog. I also know that my sister in law sent a link to my blog to several people with the ability to help the Coast. (Thanks Kim!)

I have no idea who read the blog or even cared, but it may have made a difference. I hope so. Happy New Year. I hope 2006 is brighter and better for everyone, not just the Mississippi Coast. Please leave a comment and help me say goodbye to Hurricane Katrina. You do not have to register or leave an email address to post. Thanks

Nance I hope you continue to post pix AND words! I love reading what's going on in your world. Even if it's a messy one. It's fair to say 2006 will be a much better year for both of us.

Love you very much!
Adrienne

and yes, Iiro DOES have a real beer tap in our finished basement. I'm thinking of altering it LOL! I HOPE you two DO decide to come and visit! I am 100% sincere in my offer. I think we would truly have an amazing time.

I am with you. I am ready for Katrina to take all of her mess and just leave town. Good riddance to bad rubbish.

Goodbye and good riddance, Katrina! For some strange reason, that is a name I hate now. Take your aftermath with you, too!

Happy new year, Nancy! Can't wait to see what this blog becomes!

I hate to see the blog go away, but I certainly understand why you are ready to move past it. Good luck and best wishes.
