Just out of curiosity...
If you are reading this journal, could you please post and say Hello? I get a lot of hits on this site, but I am not sure if they are just from spam , or if I have some silent readers. I would love to know who, if anyone, is out there. Thanks

Hey howdy hey!
I originally found this through the wlox link. I think you probably get most of your hits through there. I keep checking to see if there are any updates. It is interesting to read your take on Katrina

Hi from Minnesota. I have been reading your blog for a few weeks and it has been very interesting for me to get a first had picture of what is happening.
Lori
You know I read! :o)
Too funny that the first response was a spam post.
It is good to see people post and Lori, thank you for also putting where you are from. I do hope to reach people outside of the area with my journal.
Sus and Karen, thanks for stopping long enough to say Howdy!
C, I have not linked this journal to wlox. Can you tell me where you saw it linked? Is there a board with Coast blogs or something like that?
Thanks for letting me know Lisa. I know I have been slow to catch this journal up, but I am trying to make time to do it.
Right now I need to find another good free video hosting site since I noticed that neither of my slideshows were working. I have more video I would like to post so if anyone knows of a site, let me know.
Checking in from Biloxi here.
Hi Nancy :)
I can't recall exactly how I found your blog but I know it was after Katrina when I was doing internet research to help a friend looking for a relative in St Bernard Parish NO.
I've found your narrative very engaging. Been moved to tears more times than I'd care to admit. Best wishes for you, your family, and your community.
To the most recent anonymous poster......did your friend ever find their relative in NOLA? I have been reading some of the NOLA blogs and that is heartwrenching over there. Here on the MS Coast we will be able to rebuild, but over there.....who knows what will happen.
Thanks for your nice comments on my journal.
Hi, I found you by way of TwoPeas. (I'm in Seattle) A mixture of intrigue/curiosity and sympathy - I am amazed at what you've been through. Sorry I've simply been lurking...didn't quite know what to say, except I wish you the best and hope things can move along for you all. Normalcy is in the future, but I'm afraid it's very far into the future.
Kirsten thanks for nice comments. I checked out your blog and see that you are going through some of the remodeling woes that I will have to face shortly. I dread having all of the construction going on in my home so I will have to keep up with your blog to see how it is going for you. Good Luck.
Happy New Year. I stubbled on you today. I'm in St Louis. Funny how "we" not directly effected move on when CNN doesn't have "Katrina" in our faces 24/7. That had to be so tough when Brad was in Chicago and you were back in MS w/ no alot. I've saved you as a favorite and will read more later. Hope you had a great holiday.
